A common issue with these Eufy robovacs is that the gears end up stripping a few teeth which results in improper spinning of the brush motor or unusual noise level.
You will receive 2 gears which will fix one motor only, the gears are made using strong polymer, printed on professional industrial grade printers, these are NOT homemade.
There are plenty of videos and tutorials on how to replace these, and they’re very easy to replace, don’t go out and buy a new vac, just replace these gears it is a simple process, you will have some fun, save money and help the nature! The replacement process is not complicated, there are some videos available at youtube explaining the whole process, is something that you can do in about 15 minutes using just a screwdriver.
These gears are a complete redesign from scratch, they are a product of a few dozens of iterations with the goal to provide a product that will
last longer than the originals
. You’ll need to swap both gears as they were designed together and have different teeth size and angles. They dont require grease but I will send you a small amount just for purpose of peace of mind.
